Phosphor is an absolutely brilliant game I found on a gaming website only a few weeks ago. It’s one of the only games on the Internet that allows LAN server and LAN client simultaneous game play. Although it is not comparable to a first person shooter, such as Battlefield II and others, the graphics and game play are unmatched by anything you can play on the Internet without having to purchase or download any programs or files. This game is compatible with both single and multiplayer, and even though the singleplayer version is amazing in its own right, playing Phosphor with friends on multiplayer is so much more rewarding. Although you can’t change the map and the settings are limited, I believe it is the simplest and best first person shooter on the web. Phosphor is not exactly new; leading me to think that this cannot possibly be the best first person shooter on the Internet – but it is. I hope more games like this one will come out sooner than later. A link to Phosphor is located here.
